Bloke & Geezer Culture

Bloke & Geezer will soon be a registered trademark. You may think it was done in order to prevent anyone copying the Bloke & Geezer clothing range but to me it means so much more.

I'm 52 years old. I love fashion, hence the Bloke & Geezer brand of clothes, but I love clothing that represents my culture. The UK have always been the forerunners of fashion from Teds to Mods to Rockers to Skinheads to Casuals, yes influences have been taken from elsewhere but the UK always takes it and makes it their ownl.  I also love music from Motown to Punk and bands like The Jam, The Cockney Rejects and The Clash were an important part of my youth. I also love Football and was a decent player in my younger days and this led to me becoming a UEFA B coach and coaching & managing at Pyramid level. I loved the Chelsea team of the 70's but my next door neighbour Billy Payne said I lived near Millwall so I should support them (you believe anything at 7) and 44 years later the suffering continues but I still get a season ticket each year in hope more than belief that this year...... but as we all know we wouldn't change a thing, would we. I also love Boxing and boxed as a kid but I was left with the choice boxing or football, football won but I still have the utmost respect for anyone who gets in the ring. So from these loves comes Bloke & Geezer.

So what is a Bloke & Geezer? Everyone will have their own views, the press say he is a heavy drinking, racist, flag waving ignorant football hooligan. Really, the average Bloke & Geezer works and always has. He isn't political but he has his opinions. He likes a drink and loves Football, Boxing, Darts and going to the Dogs. He loves a bet. He loves his country but isn't a racist. The media have their definition but to me it is much more it's a part of my history and gaining that trademark will go someway to reclaiming that history. I still call myself working class because I'm proud to be a member of the working classes. I'm proud of my country but I'm certainly no racist. I believe in the community and hate seeing the heart and soul of the community ripped out.

I'm out to make money and hope you buy the Bloke & Geezer gear but there's more to making money and If I can help out anyone then I've achieved something and that's what it's all about looking after your own.

Cheers
